Registration is now open for the 8th annual Century for the Cure charity bike ride, and we would very much appreciate it if you would add our event to your bike store/club web site. I started Century 7 years ago after being treated for non-Hodgkins Lymphoma at The Cancer Institute of NJ in New Brunswick, hoping to help others win their battle. Thanks to our generous sponsors, we will donate, for the 3rd straight year, 100% of all funds raised by the riders to CINJ for research. We have raised $825,000 since our first ride 7 years ago!
The ride is Saturday, September 8, 2012, and starts/ends in Warren, NJ. We will have 3 routes to choose from; a 100 mile, 80 mile or 40 mile route, fully supported with rest stops, great food and drinks and enthusiastic volunteers to support and cheer you on.
Our fundraising goal this year is $250,000, and are poised to pass the $1 million mark! Each rider commits to raising at least $500. All riders will receive a custom jersey from Primal Wear riding jersey and DeFeet cycling socks. Raise $1,250 and you will also receive a pair of custom Primal Wear knee warmers.
Go to our website @ www.centuryforthecure.com for more information and to register. Register by May 1 to guarantee a rider jersey in your size.
Please reach out to me with any questions and thank you again for promoting our event.
All the best,
Century for the Cure
