State Championship Series

Highlights 

¨ The 2002 Point System will be as follows: There are 8 races in the series. There is one dropped race. Your best 7 races count. Every rider who STARTS a race will be given 1/2 the Max amount of points for their class. If you finish the race you will be given the other 1/2.  I.E.: 

Beginners get 15 points to start, 15 points if you finish = 30 points

Sports get 30 points to start, 30 points if you finish =60 points

Experts get 60 points to start, 60 points if you finish = 120 points

Pro/Elite get 120 points to start, 120 points if you finish = 240 points

 

PAY DIRT POINTS ARE IN EFFECT for this SERIES: Racers will get the 3rd place points for their class for 10 hours of Trail Maintenance. NO More than 5 hours can be from MTB PATROL Hours. The rest must come from Trail Maintenance. 

You must compete in 4 races to be consider for top 3 Overall awards.

¨       Then the top 20 of each class will get the following points:

Points will be totaled for 7 races out of 8 ,plus 3rd place points if you do  PAY DIRT Hours and the racers with the most points in their class will be the winner. Pro/semi, Expert, Sport and Beginner Classes awards will be given out at the NOV. 10th  Short Track race of RVCC after the day’s events. You must be present Nov. 10, 2002 to collect your awards.

Juniors 12-18

Seniors 19-29,

Masters 30-34

Masters 35-39

Masters 40-49

Masters 50+

Pro/Semi-pro OPEN

WOMEN: Expert, Sport and Beginner

Junior 12-18

Senior and Master 19-34

Master 35-49

Master 50+

Promoters have the right not to offer a class if there are not 5 riders in that class. It is then up to you to make sure they list next to your name what age group you are in , so the ranking will be correct.

THIS IS A NON-NORBA SERIES

 

Ranking will be available on the RVCC web and Team Bulldogs page as soon as Promoters send there results to the Series Director.
